Description
NADAR: (1820-1910) French Photographer, Caricaturist and Balloonist. His real name being Felix Tournachon. An excellent A.L.S., Nadar, two pages, 8vo, written to the front and fourth page permitting full framing, Marseille, September 1900, on his personal and very attractive printed stationery, to an unidentified correspondent, in French. Nadar states in part `It´s me again, I could not resist sending you this second letter of our series…´ Nadar further adds between brackets `(My 80 years cannot race once again..)´ further again saying `If the patriarch Elie has not yet acknowledged receipt and having said he was going to mention your names in his ''Humanité Nouvelle'' that means he is gone.. Therefore rejoice contemplating how much you are useful, which is the main thing,…´ With a post-scriptum. A cleanly fountain pen ink written letter. VG
