The coat still bears its "Rush" tag with Tanya Tucker's name, referencing the need to expedite for a particular event in which the country music icon was participating. The lot also includes a matching pair of black leather knee-high stiletto boots. This ensemble was acquired directly from the country music icon earlier this year, and partially represents an illustrious 50 year career which started at the age of 13 with a hit song, "Delta Dawn". Tanya Tucker uncommonly maintained her audience into adult years while earning awards spanning five decades, including CMA Female Vocalist of the year in 1991, two Grammy Award wins for Best Country Album and Best Country Song in 2020, two name a few. The lot comes with a letter of authenticity from Stephen Shutts, a well known collector and broker of Elvis, country music and pop culture memorabilia for over 20 years, who has worked with entities including the CMA, Brooks & Dunn, Hugh Hefner & Playboy, Dick Clark, among others.
