The gatefold bears melded 1967 autographs by The Beatles, all next to their respective image, accomplished by a world-leading professional paper restoration expert. Note that none of the actual autograph ink was touched, changed or altered in any way during the process. The album cover is accompanied by a letter of authenticity from leading Beatles autograph expert Frank Caiazzo, which states that the four autographs were all obtained in the UK during the summer and fall of 1967 with three of them (Lennon, Harrison and McCartney) being obtained on September 13, 1967 during the filming of Magical Mystery Tour in Newquay, England, and the Starr autograph on July 2, 1967 at Ringo's home in Weybridge, Surrey, England. "Sgt. Pepper" album covers containing signatures are extremely rare and desirable. In 2013, a fully signed "Sgt. Pepper" album was sold for $290,000.
