Dutch 18th c. silver box with the biblical didactic scene of Susanna and the Elders, illustrative of the sin of false accusation for which punishment awaits the evil accuser. A tobacco box or a lady's cosmetic purse, it might have been been in the possession of a Jewish young lady when it was created. Size: 7/8" x 3" x 2 1/2"
