Chinese 19 C Enamel Porcelain Rectangular Planter on 4 legs, the sides with a central panel of a Scholar & Assistant and surrounded by large scrolling flowers in iron red; base unglazed. Height 3 inches (7.5 cm.) X width 8 1/2 inches (21.5 cm.). PROVENANCE: Acquired from King Po Chai Antique Dealer, Upper Lascar Row, Hong Kong, 1965-1971; then by descent to the private collection of a California Restaurateur.
