Description
AMERICAN PEWTER LIGHTING DEVICES, LOT OF TWO, comprising a signed "T. WILDES" saucer-base hand lamp with turned standard, fitted with a period brass two-tube fluid burner with brass chain and caps; and an unsigned pan lamp of bowl form with slight spout, iron wick guide, arm, and hanging hook. Both with excellent patina. Lamp by Thomas Wildes, Philadelphia (1829-1833) and New York (1833-1840). First half 19th century. 4 1/2" and 8" H.
Very good condition, font with small scar to side.
