Board: 15 x 13 1/4 in. (381 x 337 mm).Brett Weston, son of photographer Edward Weston, was part of Group f/64, which formed in California in the 1930s. They were proponents of "pure photography"—stark, highly detailed large-format black-and-white images. Other members included Ansel Adams, Willard Van Dyke, and Imogen Cunningham.
