An early George III sterling silver five bottle sauce cruet, London 1762 by Erick Romer Of cinquefoil form raised on five cast and applied ball and claw with scroll brackets. Five circular pierced galleried supports screw fixed to base with a central carrying handle with shaped scroll and rocaille terminal. Fitted with five cut clear glass cylindrical sauce bottles with unmarked silver caps with scalloped edges, each with stoppers, one matched. Fully marked underneath. Height – 19 cm / 7.5 inches Weight – 323 grams / 10.38 ozt
