Description
A CHINESE GLAZED STONEWARE POURING VESSEL IN THE FORM OF A TOAD, LATE 19TH CENTURY, the bronze colored glazed pouring vessel in the form of a crouching toad, with six circular "scales" with impressed drilled coin replicas, the tail looped upwards as a handle, with a filling stem and a pouring hole. Signed on the lower side. Height: 1 5/8" Width: 4 1/4" Depth: 2 5/8"
Condition
In overall very good condition with minor scratching to surfac commensurate with age and use, impressed detail of coin decoration uneven.
