American Classical Ormolu Mounted Carved Mahogany Settee, 19th c., the shaped back over rolled arms to a cushion seat on splayed legs with brass paw cap casters, in gold striped silk upholstery, H.- 32 1/2 in., W.- 77 in., D.- 28 1/2 in. Provenance: Private Collection of A Local Antiquarian, Garden District, New Orleans, Louisiana.

Condition

Condition is consistent with age and use. This settee is sturdy with no major issues evident. It needs an upholstery cleaning, particularly in the seat. There are some scratches and dings to the front of armrests on wood accents. All four claw feet are present. The legs look to be in stable condition.
