Description

French Patinated Spelter and Black Marble Mantel Clock, 19th c., with a figure of a classical female sculptress atop a drum clock, flanked by cherubs representing music and literacy, on a stepped gilt incised spelter mounted base on paw feet, Note: Movement has been replaced by a battery operated movement, H.- 25 in., W.- 19 in., D.- 9 in.

Condition

Proper right rear foot is loose, needs regluing. Whole superstructure of clock is loose from the footed base. Also needs regluing. Movement is battery operated. Face is replaced paper. Some loss to patina on spelter figures and feet.
