Description
Two framed, mounted, and signed official 19th Century documents from the United Mexican States (Mexico), each signed by an historic Mexican President. Written in Spanish, partially printed, partially handwritten, each document has signature and affixed official seal stamp. The left facing document, dated 1876, bears signature to lower right of Sebastian Lerdo de Tejada Corral (1823–1889), President of Mexico from 1872-1876. The right facing document, dated 1898, bears signature to lower center of Jose de la Cruz Porfirio Díaz Mori (1830–1915), President of Mexico from 1877-1880 and 1884-1911. Presented in a decorative matte and frame. Good condition with minor age related wear to frame. Measures 17 in. x 10 3/4 in. (sight, each), 23 in. x 28 in. (framed).
