Carson (American, fl. 20th Century). 20th Century mounted oil painting on canvas, a rural farmyard scene of a rooster, chicken, and a turtle, painted in the earlier American School style, but presence of wing band on the rooster suggests a later date. Artist signed CARSON to lower right. Mounted in a decorative gilt wooden frame with nice patina throughout. Good condition, no loss to frame. Measures 9 1/2 in. x 7 1/2 in.
