This is a very early piece of cardboard advertising for Star Tobacco with a very interesting depiction of African Americans for the sale of the tobacco. Marked with a copyright date for the late 1800's. The cardboard sign shows areas of dirt and discoloration, small areas in the outside border of water damage and some small creases to the main field, however this sign would improve greatly with a good cleaning. A very interesting piece of early advertising. Condition: (7.5 - 8.0). Dimensions: Frame: 25 - 1/2" x 20 - 3/4".
