Description
This Vintage MGM Studio Deadwood Marshal Badge as well as having the name of a popular TV show, Deadwood is also a town in South Dakota that sprung up in 1876. This Deadwood Marshal Badge is modeled after a lawman badge that would have been worn in Deadwood in its early days. Deadwood was originally named for the quantity of dead trees that lie in its gulch, although the original lawless state of Deadwood likely made the name more sinister and appropriate for its residents, too. This badge is crafted from solid metal and features a fantastic antique silver finish, which completes its look perfectly. It is a classic round lawman badge, featuring an outer circle that contains a typical star. The outer circle features two small star engravings, as well as the word Marshal along the top and the town name, Deadwood along the bottom. In the center of the central star is a twisting vine pattern, adding a bit of detailing to the simple look. The back of the badge features a working pin, which ensures that it can be worn with ease. This Deadwood Marshal Badge is a great little accessory to own, especially if you happen to be a Wild West enthusiast or an aficionado of the town of Deadwood, and it is also a great gift to give to those who might share an interest in this legendary western town.
