Henry Dunay 1980s 15mm-16mm Pearl, 7.00ctw VS1-VS2/F-G Diamond Solid 18K Yellow Gold Necklace - This exquisite necklace was made by world renowned, award-winning designer Henry Dunay. The necklace was finely crafted of solid 18k yellow gold and is embellished with a 16mm pearl center and (2) 15mm pearl accents which all match beautifully and have a gorgeous satiny iridescent luster. The necklace is also embellished with approximately 7.00ctw VS1-VS2/F-G pave set fiery white diamonds along with the luxurious hammered texture for which Dunay is synonymous. The necklace measures 16" in length and1.25" wide at the widest point, and is signed "Dunay" along with the gold purity "18K". Henry Dunay started his career at the age of 14 and started his own firm in 1956, initially taking on work from other manufacturers (including Harry Winston) to support himself. He quickly found success and fame after winning the De Beers Diamond International Award, which showered images of his designs around the world. He has been awarded over 50 National and International Awards over fifty years, and is a four time winner of the Diamond International award. His pieces have been worn at countless red carpet events on celebrities such as Nicole Kidman, Denzel Washington's wife, Hillary Clinton, and Adrien Brody.
