Description
These precious children lithographies are all Currier and Ives at either 125 or 152 Nassau St. in New York. The only one from the 125 address (1872-1874) is "Little Wildflower". The rest are 152 (1838-1872) and are "Little Charlie The Prize Boy", "The Watchers" and a Civil War era "The Little Volunteer" . All have been beautifully framed in Black Forrest Adirondack tramp art frames with applied oak leaves on each corner. All condition is consisent with age and improper preservation with toning, some foxing, Little Wildfire has a tear underglass. None have been examined outside of the frames . All measure approx the same (including frame) 20 3/4" x 16 3/4" with slight variations.
