Description
An Iron Age ceramic pilgrim's flask, c. 1000 - 600 BC, with flat, circular body and a pair of strap handles flanking the flared spout. H: 6 1/2 in (16.5 cm). Surface encrustation throughout. Ex collection of Sir William Whitfield, acquired in the 1940's.
