Description
A nice Egyptian bronze ibis, Late Period, c. 664 - 30 BC, the head and feet are original bronze with nice detail and attractive patination. The body is sculpted in a modern material, probably mid-20th Century, and the piece is quite attractive! 6 1/2 in x 4 1/2 in (16.5 x 11.4 cm). Light deposits. Ex Estate of Dr. Roger & Carole Stoll, New York and Boca Raton; Ex Los Angeles private collection.
