Artist Biography: On his twelfth birthday, Bob Hollingsworth received a Kodak Box Brownie camera as a promotion from a shoe company. This serendipitous gift launched a lifelong career in photography. His formal training as a photographer began in the Navy during World War II and progressed after the war at the CSFA. A member of the Professional Photographers of San Francisco, Hollingsworth pursued a successful career in architectural photography in the United States, Europe and Micronesia. Since retirement he has begun to work with electronic imaging.
Education: California School of Fine Arts, 1946–1950.
