The 25th Assembly District at that time occupied the heart of San Francisco's Mission District, with Dolores and Bryant on the west and east, 18th Street in the north, Army and 29th Street providing the southern border. No copies are listed in OCLC. There is one copy at the University of California Berkeley of "Election precincts, 31st Assembly District and part of 4th Congressional District" for 1928, but no other precinct maps for San Francisco in 1928. During the election, San Francisco as a whole voted 49.94% for Democratic presidential candidate Al Smith, and 49.11 for Republican Herbert Hoover - a very purple city.
