Description
Edward Chambreau (1821-1902) antique mounted photograph. Edward Chambreau (Veteran, Rascal 1802-1901) served as a scout in the Clark County Rangers in 1855 and 1856. Chambreau was a member of the rescue party of Peter Ogden who saved the prisoners of the Whitman massacre in 1847-48. He was in the Yakima War of 1855-56. This mounted photo measures 8-in. x 5.5-in. image size and 10-in. x 8-in. total. Vg-EX/EX condition. From a non-smoking home and free of any odors. Provenance: Bob Borcherdt collection.
