A PAIR OF NEOCLASSICAL REVIVAL FEMALE FIGURAL SIX LIGHT PATINATED SPELTER CANDELABRA, FRENCH, LATE 19TH/EARLY 20TH CENTURY, six Greek style bell krater form candle cups with petal form bobèches on scrolled Neo-Grec arms, upheld by an elaborate torch standard, her classical hair waves under a headband and knots at back, she wears a striped tunic top and belted classical skirt with Greek wave pattern, she stands in grotesque contrapposto atop a Doric pedestal with relief frieze of a procession of women bearing offerings, raised on a cavetto molded noir belge and violette d'Espagne marble circular base. Height: 30" Diameter: 12" Provenance: Lifelong Collection of Clocks and Antiques, Navasota, Texas.
Condition
