A VICTORIAN GREEN PAINTED CAST IRON ARMORIAL LION ANDIRON, LATE 19TH/EARLY 20TH CENTURY, the lion seated on his haunches rests his paws on scrolls and is raised on a stepped plinth base. Height: 15 1/2" Width: 10 1/4" Depth: 2 1/2"

Condition

Painted many times, just the front plate of an andiron decoration, some losses throughout, mild oxidation, but overall in good to very good condition, wear commensurate with age and use.
