**Originally Listed At $900**

Pre-Columbian, Peru, Inca Empire, ca. 1470 to 1532 CE. A rare, well preserved shallow wooden offering bowl, made to be used in ceremonies. Vessels of this style are usually made of black basalt. The body is round, with a thick base and sides and two horizontal looped handles. Some deposits remaining on the handles suggest that they may have been painted black. Size: 9.5" W x 1.55" H (24.1 cm x 3.9 cm); 5.4" H (13.7 cm) on included custom stand.
