Samson (French). Two antique late 19th to early 20th century cache pots in fine quality French porcelain. A Chinese export style design with pseudo armorial crest flanked by lion and black stallion horse over the blue ribbon banner with the motto "Sola Virtus Invicta". Famille rose floral sprays with blue borders and gold gilt accents. Each mounted in a gold gilt bronze type mounting base. Attributed to Samson. From the Estate of Mrs. Susan S. Dillon, Jupiter, FL. Good condition with mild surface wear. Measures 8 3/4 in. x 11 in. Hill Auction Gallery in house continental USA shipping $100 plus insurance.
