John Rawlet was a 17th-century Anglican preacher who was known for his defenses and apologetics of Protestantism in England. He even wrote a book attacking the Catholic Church for the Short Catechism. ‘A Dialogue Betwixt Two Protestants’ discussed a variety of controversial topics including (as Rawlet viewed it) image and idol worship, prayers for the dead, speaking prayers in Tongues, prayer rosary and beads, and transubstantiation.
