Description
Great WWII Ike jacket to Staff Sergeant Thomas L. Burton of Minnesota. The collector we obtained this from attended Burton's estate sale it was at and pulled it out of the closet as is and included a printout of the sale. The jacket bears Burton's laundry mark, German made pin back DUI's, wool combat leader stripes, sterling CIB, and insignia as shown. The ribbon bar combo is a post war replacement, probably last 25 or so years. The shooting badge looks like it is also custom made. We were told the son noted he had it replaced for post war wear. Everything else is as worn when Staff Sergeant Burton took the jacket off at the end of his service.
