Description
WWII uniform group of Staff Sergeant Arthur P. Guilfoyle of Illinois, an Engineer in the Third Army in Europe. The group includes his Ike jacket with patches, pinned on engraved Good Conduct Medal, marksmanship badge, ribbon bars (post war mount bars), his overseas cap, shirt, pants, and belt. The jacket has some light scattered mothing, and the shirt is heavily mothed in the front in one area. Many of the items bear his name and/or serial number. We have included a digital screenshot of a photo found of him from a 1944 newspaper article.
