A letter of thanks hand-signed in ink by Elizabeth, on red crested Buckingham Palace Stationery, November 26, 1947.
The Princess and heir apparent to the throne writes: My husband and I are deeply touched to know that you shared in giving us such a delightful wedding present. We are both enchanted with the dessert service; the different flowers and the beautiful coloring will, I know, be greatly admired by all who see it. This is a present which we shall use constantly.
Ink penned on a full typed letter addressed from Buckingham Palace.
Approx. 7.5 x 4.75 inches.
Condition: good original estate condition.
Provenance: Gary Combs Estate.
