American Victorian Cutdown Carved Walnut Highback Queen Size Bed, late 19th c., the arched pierced scrolled crown headboard with a central roundel over double arched panels, within tapered square posts topped with turned urn finials, to shaped wood rails and an arched footboard, having been a half-tester, H.- 87 in., Int. W.- 60 in., Int. D.- 84 in.

Condition is consistent with age and use. Normal scuffs, scratches and wear and tear. The molding on one rail needs re-gluing or tacking. There is a shrinkage crack to the top of molding on the proper left head board panel. Top of center molding between arched panels is missing, about 1 ¼ in. It is also missing one rail bracket.
