Thanks to the release of large numbers of examples from government storage throughout much of the early to mid-20th century, the 1886 is one of the most available Morgan dollars in Mint State. As with so many issues in this series, however, the 1886 becomes scarce to rare in the finest Mint State grades, which for the 1886 means MS-67+ and finer.
