Description
This is a beautiful dedication to rock and roll legends all killed in a single airplane crash, February 3rd, 1959. The world lost major talent that day, Buddy Holly, Richie Valens and JP Richardson, AKA The Big Bopper along with their pilot Roger Peterson. This shadowbox dedication has photos of each of these lost artists next to a 45 record that was signed by each. Also in this dedication are a black and white photo of the wreckage and color photo of the memorial in Clear Lake, Iowa. Also a facsimile of the newspaper article announcing the deaths of these rock and roll icons. On the back of the framed piece is a COA from Art of Music Management. Approx measures of this entire piece is 29 1/2" x 35" x 3 1/4".
