A hand hammered and forged iron sculpture made by a village blacksmith to represent a Hogon, an important Dogon medicine man and his horse, a traditional image used is ceremonial practices by the Dogon peoples, of Mali, West Africa. The figure measures 7 x 5.75 inches. Provenance: The Dr Brian Healy Estate, New York.
