Native American, US Southwest, ca. mid 20th century CE. A pair of simple, elegant sterling silver necklaces, with sparing use of other elements to catch the eye. One features two unpolished pieces of turquoise and a delicate silver lizard pendant. The other has white and brown shell heishi beads at its center and just above it. Length of strand (they are similar in length): 14.5" L (36.8 cm); size of lizard: 1.45" H (3.7 cm)

Provenance: private Boulder, Colorado, USA collection, acquired 2020; old Gallup, New Mexico, USA collection, 1970s
