Description

The exceptional depiction shows the Old Fire God having thick, bushy eyebrows, sagging bags under the eyes, a recessing cheek bone, wrinkled cheeks, and bordered with a goatee surrounding the jaw. The deity's chin juts forward and his mouth is open exposing only two teeth. The beautiful rendering is sealed overall with a plumbate slip achieving a cloudy metallic to beige tone. The plumbate surface is, created with a high lead content. The color variety ranges from brilliant orange to peachy and olive green to dark brown.
