Description
A group of 3 Roman silver coins. Lot includes a Republic Denarius of M. Servilius, 100 BC. Rome mint. (19.5 mm, 3.87g), with head of Roma and two warriors in a sword fight, horses behind. The second is a Denarius of the emperor Nerva, AD 96 - 98, Rome Mint, (13 mm, 3.25g), featuring Liberty on the reverse. The last is struck under the emperor Antoninus Pius, AD 138 - 161, Rome Mint, (17 mm, 3.13g), the reverse with Fortuna standing lt. All pleasing examples! Ex Chicago private collection.
