Description
A Roman pale yellow sprinkler flask, Eastern Mediterranean, 2nd - 3rd Century AD, the body molded with four horizontal bands containing a herringbone pattern in low relief. The cylindrical neck is constricted at the base and the mouth is flared widely with rounded rim. H: 3 1/4 in (8.3 cm). Small area of repair on body, moderate surface deposits inside and out. Ex Lecker collection, FL, acquired in the early 1980's.
