Description
A late 18th to early 19th century portrait miniature pendant, depicting a gentleman in a blue coat, attributed to Thomas Hazlehurst (1760-1818).Signed T.H. Length 9.1cms. 59.8gms.
Condition
  • Overall condition good. General light to moderate wear to the metal and glass in keeping with age.
  • With blue glass and woven hair reverse.
  • Signed T.H. Attributed to Thomas Hazlehurst active 1760-1818.
  • Watercolour on ivory.
  • Painting appears in very good condition, retaining good colour and no obvious signs of damage.
  • Dimensions of portrait 6.7 by 5.2cms.
  • Crack to the enamel to the reverse.
  • Some of the seed pearl details have come apart and are loose in the back section.
  • Hair in good condition.
