Fine Circa 1780, gilded wood and gesso octagonal barometer with embossed carved pediment with embossed leaves. French Script and Print to perimeter to face. Barometre, Par Boullet, Optieren, Rue S. Antoine. No. 69, A. Paris. GR de PLULE PLUTE ou Vt VARIABLE, Bau TEMS, Bau FIXE, TRES=SEC, TEM PETE. 18 3/4w x 3 1/4d x 33h. Overall 35h.

Condition

Face excellent, chip to four o' clock to interior of frame, pediment has been repaired. Later applied gilded board to stabilize pediment.
