BRITISH INLAID ROSEWOOD WHEEL-STYLE BAROMETER, having a broken-arch pediment above a hygrometer, thermometer, barometer, and leveling bubble, marked "WATSON & MARTIN DUNFERMLINE", mother-of-pearl flowering vine around the case edge. 19th century. 39 1/4" H, 10 1/2" WOA.

Provenance:

Collection of the late Al and Billy Steidel, Alexandria, VA.

Condition

Case with one restored pediment arch, minor age cracks, and two tiny losses to inlay, thermometer glass with loss. Unknown working order.
