GEORGE III / CHIPPENDALE INLAID MAHOGANY LOOKING GLASS / WALL MIRROR, cut-out scroll-work crest with an applied gilded shell, above an inlaid rectangular frame with gilded inner border and lower cut-out drop with matching shell, mirror plate and backboard are original, pine substrate. Partial old jelly label to back inscribed [Proper]ty of / [?]l Hall". Retains an outstanding old surface with rich color. Fourth quarter 18th century. 40" H, 21 1/2" WOA.
