Description
Smith & Wesson New Model No. 3 single action revolver. 6 - 1/2" barrel with fixed full radius front and "V" notch rear sights. Chambered in .44 Russian. Two piece black hard rubber grips, checkered with diamond and S&W logo. Comes with a factory letter dated February 17,1998 signed by Roy Jinks. Letter documents this revolver as being one of 150 purchased by the Japanese Government, and shipped to Takata & Co., Yokohama, Japan on August 7, 1899. CONDITION: Excellent as factory refinished. Date code 3-56 found on frame, inside left grip panel. 97-98% factory reapplied blue remaining. Bore is bright. Action is tight and crisp.
