Veue de Palais et des Jardins des Thuilleries copperplate engraving by Israel Silvestre (French, 1621-1691). Signed and dated by the artist within the lower left bottom of the plate. Published by and bears the stamped crest of the Musee Louvre, Chalcographie. Visible area measures: 14.75" x 19.75". Exterior of frame measures: 21" x 27.75" x .75". Housed behind glass and black lacquered wooden frame. Engraving not examined outside of frame but appears in good condition, with good impression, and minor toning commensurate with age and environmental exposure.
