Description
A Chinese calligraphy scroll. Large character reading "long life" with inscriptions to either side. Dedicated to Chen Xiangmei (Anna Chennault) from the China Heilongjiang Foreign Friendship Association. Mid to late 20th century. Ink on red gold flecked paper. Artist seal l.l. Approximately: 52 1/2" x 25 1/2". Overall, Approximately: 77" x 30".Condition: Occasional crease. Few small areas of discoloration on silk boarder.Provenance: Gifted to Anna Chennault by the China Heilongjiang Foreign Friendship Association.From the collection of Anna Chennault (Chen Xiangmei).
