Xie Zhiliu (1910 - June 1, 1997), whose original name was Zhi, with the courtesy name Zhiliu, and later with the character Xing , later given the name Zhuang Mu Weng, and his living names were Yuyinxitang, Duzhai, Yanjianglou, and Kuhuangzhai. A native of Changzhou , Jiangsu . Good at calligraphy and appraisal of ancient calligraphy and painting . At first, he was as famous as Zhang Heng (Zhang Congyu), and there was a saying in the world of "Zhang from the north and Xie from the south". He has successively served as editor and deputy director of the Shanghai Cultural Relics Protection Commission, consultant of the Shanghai Museum , director of the China Artists Association, vice chairman of the Shanghai branch, director of the Chinese Calligraphers Association , vice chairman of the Shanghai branch, leader of the National Ancient Calligraphy and Painting Appraisal Team of the State Administration of Cultural Heritage, and national cultural relics Member of appraisal committee , etc. He is the author of "Dunhuang Stone Chamber Records", "Dunhuang Art Narrative", "Ink Painting", etc., and compiled "Famous Traces of Tang, Five Dynasties, Song and Yuan Dynasties ", etc.
