Costume design for Alan Mixon as The Enemy Leader in the Broadway production of "The Unknown Soldier and his Wife," which premiered at the Vivian Beaumont Theater on July 6, 1967 before moving to the George Abbott Theatre. Mixed media, including gouache, wash, pen, ink, and graphite on paper with fabric swatches. 370x276 mm; 14½x11 inches. Signed "Motley" in lower right image with additional notes to the right of the figure.
