Ink and watercolor, framed. Featuring a woman in a red robe looking back at a dark gap in the trees. Signed "A. Duncan Carse" in the bottom left corner. Two stickers on verso read "01-OCT-08 Sale 2031 Lot 100s CHRISTIES". Stickers affixed to verso reads "CHRISTIE'S Stock #RW426 Line #26 Dept: NCH, Another label affixed to verso reads "CHRISTIE'S RW435/26 Irz" Another sticker affixed to bottom is "CHRISTIE'S RW [illegible]". Attributed to Andreas Duncan (1876-1938, English). 40 x 20 cm (15.75 x 8 inches), framed: 71 x 44 cm (28 x 17 inches). Provenance: Eden Art Gallery
