Condition
Volkmar ovoid vase in white crackle glaze: incised "Volkmar 1910", the lip with area of approximate 4 in. x 1/2 in. restoration, a few popped air bubbles to surface, one possible small glaze skip to foot rim; Volkmar ovoid vase in curdled raspberry and cream glaze: unmarked, crazing throughout, some areas of overfiring to approximately half of body, some openings in glaze at rim and shoulder, small glaze loss at rim approximately 3/8 by 1/4 in., some traces of gold household paint at rim, no evidence of post-production restoration, a few firing lines at foot; Volkmar ovoid vase in matte raspberry glaze: thumbnail size chip to interior of rim, small restored crack at rim, fine crazing throughout, incised V to underside with a few large stilt pulls; chamberstick in green glaze: with incised V, slightly overfired at well, some accumulations/wax/dirt to interior of candle cup, a few fleabites to handle edges, various glaze flecks to edges of well; inkwell and pen tray in matte green glaze: each with incised V mark, the inkwell also incised E., inkwell lid with large touched up thumbnail size chip/loss to one corner, the inkwell base with a few small glaze flecks to two top corners, somewhat touched up, no glass insert present, some dark ink stains to unglazed body to interior, a few possible very small glaze flecks to foot, the tray with small flecks or chips to all feet (one approx. 1/4 x 1/8 in. loss, another with with 3/8 in. x 1/4 in. touched up loss), a few glaze flecks to base intact; Walley compressed bowl/jardiniere in brown hare's fur glaze with green pooling at shoulder: impressed mark "WJW", no chips, cracks, or repairs noted, the foot with several larger popped glaze bubbles near base and apparently in the making, a few small glaze flecks probably from grinding; Walley baluster vase in turquoise and brown lustre glaze, professional restoration extending from rim, impressed marks "WJW", the glaze slightly curdled presumably in the making, areas of overfiring to neck possibly in restoration; small cabinet vase: unmarked, attributed to Walley, in speckled olive glaze, faint yellow marking (indiscernible), a few fine lines to the glaze, no apparent damage or repair
