AMERICAN VAN BRIGGLE ART POTTERY ARTICLES, LOT OF EIGHT, each having Ming blue turquoise matte glaze, comprising two round bowls with upward-flaring multipartite leafy rims, three vases of various body shapes with molded decorations including a luna moth, one conch shell-shaped vase, one candle holder resting on three cornucopia feet, and one rearing horse sculpture with thick overspray resulting in deeper blue color. Each signed "VAN BRIGGLE", having various Van Briggle marks including logo, some with "COLO SPGS" or "C. L. Spgs.", and one vase and the stallion both with "HVM", the initials for finisher Hilde Manuszak. 20th century. 9" L conch, 8 1/4" HOA.

Condition
Very good to excellent condition overall, mostly undamaged besides some having routine wear and crazing; candle holder with discolored hairlines to body.
